Sale conditions of wood are specified by the regulation of Director – General of the Sate Forests.
Within the framework of the individual sale , the foresters try to meet the fast growing demand, because more and more people use wood in order to heat their houses. Contrary to general opinion, these are not only village people, even though they prevail among recipients. The growth of firewood demand is the result of occurrence of new housing estates built in the suburbs of large agglomerations, where houses are usually equipped in fireplace heating installations.
Firewood is not only the most ecological heat source, but also is much more attractive in respect of relation of price and electric efficiency, rather than cola, oil, gas or electric power.
In recent years, the Sate Forests increased the sale of firewood of one third – up to over 4 million cubic meters annually. Some of customers choose already prepared and cut into pieces wood, the others very willingly obtain it by themselves after arranging all details and fulfilling particular safety conditions, and after paying the fee; that concerns mainly so called "thinnings". Such a raw material is very cheap, that is why many people from village areas profit from such possibility.

IV Konkurs Wiedzy o Lasach Nadleśnictwa Krasiczyn
IV Konkurs „Wiedzy o lasach Nadleśnictwa Krasiczyn"
W dniu 24.11.2015 r. w sali edukacyjnej przy siedzibie Nadleśnictwa Krasiczyn odbył się etap centralny konkursu „wiedzy o lasach Nadleśnictwa Krasiczyn". Była to już IV edycja konkursu, który cieszy się coraz większą popularnością wśród uczniów okolicznych szkół o czym świadczy liczba uczestników – aż 342 osoby.
Etap I (szkolny) odbył się 29.10.2015 r. w szkołach podstawowych, gimnazjalnych i średnich. W etapie I wyłoniono sześćdziesięciu najlepszych uczniów, którzy zmagali się z pytaniami z wiedzy ogólnej o leśnictwie oraz o lasach naszego regionu, a także rozpoznawaniem roślin i zwierząt.
Laureatami etapu centralnego zostali:

2. Urszula Ogonowska – SP nr 14 w Przemyślu
3. Wiktoria Szostak – SP nr 15 w Przemyślu
Gimnazjum
1. Adrian Hess – Gimnazjum w Krasiczynie
2. Aleksandra Opacka – Gimnazjum w Żurawicy
3. Grzegorz Fryszkiewicz - Gimnazjum w Krasiczynie
Szkoła średnia
1. Bogusław Obszarny – ZSEiO w Przemyślu
2. Klaudia Jodłowska – I LO w Przemyślu
3. Izabela Amarowicz – ZSEiO w Przemyślu
Po zakończeniu konkursu wręczono nagrody za etap I. Laureaci etapu II otrzymają nagrody oficjalnie w szkołach.
